Jeffrey Earnhardt gets secures a ride with StarCom Racing for 2018

2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Jeffrey Earnhardt

It’s great to see Jeffrey Earnhardt secure a ride 2018 in order to prolong his Cup Series career.

It’s been a long time coming and our fans have been more than happy to see this kind of news today.

Rundown of races

J. Earnhardt will compete in the 60th Daytona 500 this season where he will be driving the No.00 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

He will be assisted by crew chief Tony Furr while Derrike Cope will be StarCom’s team manager.

Although the press release says the 500 and throughout 2018.

There’s a source from ESPN’s Bob Pockrass saying that J. Earnhardt can compete in additional races this season but it’s not a full season deal yet.

It all depends on driver/sponsorship combinations.

For now, this is great to keep the Earnhardt name alive when this famous name will enter the America’s Greatest Race for the 40th straight year.

In addition, sponsorship is a big plus where he will be supported by VRX Simulators.

If you don’t know what VRX Simulators is?

It’s a simulator company based in British Columbia, Canada where they produce the best hardware and software resources to create the most advanced racing and flight simulators that is perfectly used both for the individual at home and for business.

We will see VRX stand by the No.00 car and Jeffrey Earnhardt at the 500 and most of the races this season.

We’re not sure just yet regarding how many races VRX will sponsor the No.00 this season. We could see other sponsors along the way so watch this space.

Final Thoughts

In the end, you gotta give credit to Derrike Cope and Tony Furr on leasing a charter from Richard Childress Racing last week.

This means that Jeffrey Earnhardt will automatically start at the 60th Annual Daytona 500 in 19 days time.

D. Cope & Furr has spent the entire off season assembling the best equipment and personnel possible to assist J.Earnhardt’s 2018 Cup campaign.

This is a single car, start up team where Jeffrey Earnhardt has driven for similar such organizations such as GO FAS Racing and Circle Sport Racing over the past two years.

This is the kind of experience StarCom has wanted to pick the perfect driver in J.Earnhardt that can bring both the commitment and enthusiasm that fits both the visitor of the driver and the team.

Overall, I’m glad StarCom chose the right driver in Jeffrey Earnhardt.

Good luck!
