A subsidiary of the Love’s Travel Stops brand will join Front Row Motorsports’s weekend of fun during this year’s Daytona 500.
Speedco, a national network of service locations in the trucking industry, will serve as the Primary Sponsor for David Ragan’s No.38 team for the 60th running of the Great American Race on Sunday, February 18 at Daytona International Speedway.
Love’s Travels Shops and its sister brand Speedco realistic of a 1-2 Daytona 500 finish
Today’s announcement gives Speedco’s sister company Love’s Travel Stops, two potential possibilities of going into victory lane at Daytona.
Love’s is the principal partner for Ragan’s teammate, Michael McDowell, and is the Primary Sponsor on his No. 34 Ford in 13 days time.
Back in November 2017, Speedco joined Love’s family of brands following its purchase from Bridgestone Americas in September.
Its 52 locations across Nationwide America provide oil changes, preventative maintenance, inspection services and tire offerings for commercial truck drivers.
The new partnership merged both brands to give the trucking community more service and product locations at more locations.
Can David Ragan give his all in pursuit of the Daytona 500 victory next Sunday?
Ragan is a two-time Cup winner at superspeedway tracks and almost took the No.38 Ford Fusion to victory lane in July, the last time the series raced at this track.
He was ahead of the pack when the race went into a green-white-checkered overtime restart before crossing the checkered flag in 6th place.
”Love’s Travel Stops has been a great partner of Front Row Motorsports for years now, and it’s cool to have a new member of the Love’s family as a primary partner on one of our cars, especially for the Daytona 500, where we know we’re going to have fast cars,” said Ragan.
”Michael and I are looking forward to working together on the race track, and you know we’ll push hard to get a 1-2 finish for Speedco and Love’s.”
The No. 38 Speedco-branded Ford Fusion will hit its first laps during the Qualifying rounds for the Daytona 500 this Sunday, LIVE on FOX.
Ragan and Speedco will then participate in the Can-Am Duels, the qualifying races that determine the official starting grid for next Sunday’s Great American Race, on Thursday, February 15 in which will be on air LIVE via FS1.
The 60th Annual Daytona 500 is listed to run on Sunday, February 18, at 2.30 PM ET LIVE on FOX.
