Daniel Suarez eyes continued consistency to keep challenging the front-runners after an impressive run at Dover

Daniel Suarez aims to continue to build on his consistent form into Kansas Speedway under the lights on Saturday.

He left Dover on a career-best form where he came home 3rd place which is his best finish since P3 in Watkins Glen back in August 2017 & first on an oval in 2018.

Daniel Suarez’s Cup Kansas Speedway Record

He made two Cup appearances at the 1.5-mile track in Kansas City.

12 months ago, Daniel Suarez started from 15th before he came home in P7 which is his highest finish and only Top 10 posted at this track.

Later in October that year, Suarez’s qualifying position improved where he started out from 5th place.

However, he didn’t have a bittersweet ending to the race as Suarez got involved in a wreck on Lap 197 which put only one DNF against his name.

Conclusion

Daniel Suarez now has four straight Top 11s to his name which builds up some consistency after indifferent early races to the year.

He has taken some time to answer his fans on when they will see the best of Suarez.

Suarez is hoping to get back on track sooner rather than later.

That progress isn’t that instant, but he stepped up to the plate at the right time.

First up, small steps with Top 10 finishes then build on consistency with a couple more races and Suarez went on to reap huge rewards on his first Top 5 of 2018.

What he has to do next is keep getting that race car up to speed towards challenging the front-runners so he can boost his chances of visiting victory lane for the first time.

It’s the step he has to achieve next & everyone is proud of what Suarez drove all weekend long.

Plus great job to the fans on sticking the faith by Suarez which produced more significant results in return.

Should Suarez post his 5th straight Top 11 on Saturday, then expect that 2018 will come his time on Suarez’s sophomore year at Cup level.
