Matt DiBenedetto & GO FAS Racing looking to go step by step this weekend at Sonoma

Matt DiBenedetto is fresh from the week-long off as he seeks a decisive run this Sunday at Sonoma.

He didn’t have much luck through mechanical faults as well as unfortunate 36th finish two weeks ago from Michigan.

His Sonoma Raceway Cup Record

He made three starts at Sonoma since his rookie Cup season in 2015.

During his debut, DiBenedetto finished off in 29th before improving a few spots the next year in 31st.

The first of the two occasions are with the No. 83 Toyota Camry for the beleaguered BK Racing team.

When DiBenedetto defected to GO FAS Racing last year, his run even got better than ever before.

His qualifying run went well from 27th to clinched his best finish at the 2.52-mile track in 23rd.

After a disappointing run in recent weeks, Matt DiBenedetto needed some time off to know what went wrong.

He’s now heading out West to Sonoma where he’s seeking some much-needed data from the No.32 Ford Fusion.

From there, DiBenedetto wants to show some luck by remaining calm & stay ahead at least inside the Top 25.

The last decent finish he had is at Kansas one month ago in 22nd.

This time DiBenedetto needs a similar result or higher than that to finish off Sunday out his way.

He has lots of work to do to avoid any mishaps at all through each stage.
