NASCAR XFINITY: Ryan Reed eyes more consistency in the No.16 Ford Mustang with a possible Top 10 finish this Saturday at New Hampshire

Ryan Reed is hunting for more consistent runs when he steps back in the No.16 Ford Mustang for Roush Fenway Racing this Friday at New Hampshire.

Following his 8th place finish at Kentucky last Friday, this time he’s looking to break the Top 5 code once again for the third time in 2018.

Ryan Reed’s New Hampshire XFINITY Series Record

He made four starts at the 1.058-mile short flat track in Loudon since his rookie year in 2014.

Reed’s debut run sounded respectable when he came home in 11th.

In his last three New Hampshire XFINITY Series appearances, his form looked as somewhat okay within the Top 10.

But not as very consistent outside the Top 10 as he has yet to score in Loudon.

Apart from his full 200 laps in his debut run, Reed only ended up the checkered flag with one or two laps down.

It’s the first time that Reed recently scored a Top 10 performance at Kentucky in 8th since Michigan last month.

Next up is adding the flow of consistency as Reed’s racing this time at a short flat track in Loudon.

The No.16 crew & Reed are working hard to get their Mustang up to speed when it comes to practice & qualifying on Friday & Saturday morning.

If their qualifying run continues to excel in the Top 10, then Reed will keep his fingers crossed for another back to back consistent performance.

He got one Top 10 at a short flat track at Richmond so far in 2018 three months ago in 9th.

Reed is confident that he can another Top 10 finish at a short flat track & possibly his first ever post at New Hampshire.
