Kyle Busch leads the pack at the start of the green flag while Joey Logano gets by Christopher Bell in 2nd.
Although, despite initially struggling at Turns 1 & 2, Bell used the bottom line well by getting around Logano back to where he started.
Not only Bell is Kyle Busch’s leading contender, but also fellow dirt track specialist Kyle Larson runs in 3rd.
And the competition heats up as Larson got by Bell for 2nd with 34 laps left in Stage 1.
Despite leading most of this stage with over three seconds, Kyle Busch has a right front flat tire going loose & into the wall at Turn 2.
It seems that he has suspension problems and right side damage as he finished his day early.
The first caution came on Lap 70 before the restart with seven laps left as Kyle Larson wins in Stage 1.
Despite making contact with Brandon Jones at the end of Stage 1, Daniel Hemric ran up to 4th behind Justin Allgaier.
Meanwhile, Cole Custer gets past Ty Dillon in 5th as Dillon’s No.3 Chevrolet struggling in the bottom lane.
The No.01 and the No.76 collided down into the wall at Turn 1 which signaled another caution on Lap 102.
En route to the Lap 114 restart, Christopher Bell raced back to 2nd where he got around Justin Allgaier.
Not long later, Chase Briscoe suffered damage off Turn 4 where he gone loose with Ross Chastain & then hit the front straight barrier.
Vinnie Miller went loose and stopped immediately after hitting the wall as the caution comes out with ten laps in Stage 2.
Kyle Larson wins ahead of Justin Allgaier towards the halfway mark.
Christopher Bell got around Elliott Sadler for the lead.
Meanwhile, Cole Custer makes hard contact up into the wall with Brandon Jones though they race on without the need of the caution.
Back to the front row battle and the heat between the specialist dirt track races isn’t over yet.
You’re looking at Stages 1 & 2 winner Kyle Larson running in 2nd before he clears Christopher Bell via lapped traffic with 97 to go.
Despite a little nudge into the wall at one portion, Bell tried to get by Larson on the bottom line.
But Larson’s favored high line held Bell on to his race lead as Chad Finchum spins out & blew a tire for a caution with 42 to go.
Ty Dillon made contact with Cole Custer then his team-mate Matt Tifft as the rear tire is flat.
As he tries to slow down in pit road, the race still goes on under green.
As Daniel Hemric suffers a loose wheel & then hitting the wall at the front straight, it’s overtime.
Kyle Larson has cleared both Christopher Bell & Justin Allgaier en route to his 7th & last XFINITY Series stint in 2018 with a win at Bristol.
