The opening left and right opening stand of Sam Heazlett & Max Bryant have gone off to a great start for Queensland.
Heazlett goes with the calm and patient approach.
Bryant free flows by capitalizing loose balls when whacking everywhere of the ground.
Hence, Bryant able to justify his quick 50 while working together with Heazlett through the opening run stand of 100 in 43 minutes.
But, SA’s change of approach to spin saw Adam Zampa get his breakthrough ending Bryant’s run chase of 71.
When Chris Lynn came in, Heazlett followed Bryant’s lead with a straight drive six en route to his 53 off 47 balls.
Lynn & Heazlett bumped Queensland to 150 followed by their 50-run stand by the 20th over.
By the halfway stage, Queensland may have reached 200.
But Zampa got his 2nd second as the catch from Alex Ross marked the end of Heazlett at 80 runs off 77 balls.
The same went for Charlie Hemphrey for 16 caught behind by Alex Carey.
So that leaves Zampa as the only wicket-taker for SA with 3/58 and none of the quicks made a contribution.
At last, but not least, the highlight of the day goes to Chris Lynn.
He went on to guide Queensland on the run home.
Lynn too played outstanding having picked up a 50 followed by a magnificent 100 at first drop.
Plus his side takes home the win by seven wickets here at Hurstville Oval.
